At a recent plenary session of the Conference on Disarmament (CD) in Geneva, Dung said Vietnam is currently a member of all international treaties on nuclear weapon disarmament such as the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), and most recently the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). Mr. Dung called for intensified international cooperation to carry out these treaties more effectively, contributing to putting an end to the nuclear arms race and completely disarming nuclear weapons.
