(VOVworld) - Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh has agreed to 9  points of cooperation to realize commitments made by Vietnamese and Chinese senior leaders.

While receiving Major General Ci Guowei, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Office of Foreign Affairs, on Monday, Senior Lieutenant General Vinh suggested that to keep these commitments, the two armies should increase exchanges at all levels between their border guards, naval forces, and marine police. Vinh said there should be more focus on communication activities to consolidate the relationship between the two armies.

Ci expressed his determination to implement Vinh’s proposals for the peace and stability of the region and the world.
