Vietnam, China foster security co-operation

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang met with Meng Jianzhu, head of the Chinese Communist Party’s Commission on Politics and Law, in Beijing on Sunday to discuss security co-operation.

General Quang said Vietnam treasures its traditional friendship and co-operation with China and he hopes their co-operation will continue to develop. Meng said China always wants to strengthen friendship and co-operative ties with Vietnam.
The same day, General Quang and Chinese Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun co-chaired the 4th crime prevention and control conference, held biennially by the two ministries. The event reviewed their anti-crime co-operation and outline plans for future co-operation.
