This year’s event will feature an exhibition of high-quality products from Vietnam’s most well-known coffee regions, a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Coffee Day, a seminar on coffee industry development focusing on increasing the value of chains, and visits to productive coffee farms.

At a press conference in Dak Nong province on Wednesday, Truong Thanh Tung, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the organizing board, said that the event will be attended by many South East Asian and world coffee associations. Mr. Tung said: “The second Vietnam Coffee Day is a chance for Dak Nong province to promote its potential and preferential policies to businesses nationwide. Local authorities have created the best possible conditions for investment in coffee and other staple farm products of Dak Nong province.”

Highlights of this year’s Vietnam Coffee Day will include an international workshop on Vietnam’s sustainable coffee development and a trade program connecting Vietnam’s coffee exporters to foreign companies.
