Vietnam considers France its top partner

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong has applauded the effective Vietnam-France strategic partnership via various cooperative mechanisms and forms.

At a reception in Hanoi on Friday for visiting French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, Mr. Trong said  Vietnam considers France its top partner. He said he hopes both sides will continue to work together to implement the signed agreements, develop bilateral ties, and increase coordination at multilateral forums, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development.

Prime Minister Philippe said France and Vietnam have special, close relationship which has flourished over the recent past. He expressed his hope that both sides will continue their effective cooperation in all areas.
