Vietnam continues all-out effort to locate missing jet

(VOV) – Vietnam has allowed the Singaporean Search and Rescue Office to use its undersea search equipment and expanding its search areas further east and west. Search and rescue operations are expanding both at sea and on the mainland.

Meanwhile, Malaysian police have identified the two men who used stolen passports to board the missing plane. One was 19-year-old Iranian. Both were refugees living in Europe with no known relation to any terrorist group. The two phoned a travel agent in the Thai resort city of Pattaya to book the cheapest available flights to Frankfurt, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark and did not specify a route or airline.

It has been 4 days since the Malaysian Boeing B777-200 airliner went missing. Many countries have joined the search and rescue effort but have been unable to find any trace of the missing plane.
