(VOVworld) – During his visit to Cyprus from September 11-12, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son met with Cyprus’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides, the Deputy Finance Minister, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of overseas Vietnam in Cyprus.

Mr. Kasoulides said Cyprus is interested in emerging markets including Vietnam and wants to establish an effective cooperative ties with Vietnam. Both sides agreed to exchange high-level delegations and promote trade and investment ties.
The two leaders signed an agreement for Visa Waiver for Diplomatic and Service Passports.
