Vietnam encourages Utah businesses to invest in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said the Vietnamese government wishes to enhance friendly relationship with the United States’ Utah State.

At a meeting with Gary Herbert, Governor of United States’ Utah state, in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Minh informed his guests that Vietnam focuses on fast and sustainable economic development, building a constructive and action-minded government, reforming the business environment, and resolving obstacles for foreign enterprises to do long-term and stable business in Vietnam.  

He invited Utah’s businesses to invest in traffic infrastructure, science, water management, agricultural development, urban planning, and climate change. Governor Herbert confirmed that Utah State will promote a friendly relationship and practical cooperation with Vietnam, contributing to the Vietnam-US relations.
