Mr. Phuc also received Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee Chen Min’er. He said the Vietnamese government always encourages its ministries and provinces to cooperate with Chinese localities like Guizhou province. Prime Minister Phuc said the cooperation between Guizhou province and Vietnamese localities in economics, trade, and investment, has not been on par with the two sides’ potentials. He asked Guizhou province to boost imports from Vietnam, especially agro-forestry-fishery products, encourage its enterprises to invest in Vietnam, and facilitate business activities of Vietnamese companies there. Chen Min’er said that education cooperation with Vietnam is Guizhou’s top priority, adding that the province will continue to offer scholarships and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese students to study in the province.
