Vietnam Farmers’ Association reviews Party resolution implementation

The Vietnam Farmers’ Association convenes the 8th meeting of its Central Committee on Thursday in Ho Chi Minh city. The meeting reviewed last year’s performance and the 3 year implementation of the Party Central Committee’s resolution on farmers, agriculture and rural areas. Reports at the meeting said that over the past 3 years, Vietnam’s agriculture has developed comprehensively and steadily with the agricultural structure shifting to commodity production thanks to uniform policies. The Vietnam Farmers’ Association will continue to undertake 6 major tasks, including providing vocation training to 230,000 farmers and assisting farmers in enhancing their product values in domestic and foreign markets.
