Vietnam Fatherland Front actively involved in combating corruption, wastefulness
(VOVWORLD) - The 13th conference of the 8th Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Presidium Committee opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.

Addressing the opening session, the Vietnam Fatherland Front President, Tran Thanh Man, hailed the public applause of the Party and State’s care for social welfare policies for revolutionary contributors, flood victims and the poor. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Vice President, Ngo Sach Thuc, indicates actions to prevent corruption in the Front’s action plan by 2020: “The Vietnam Fatherland Front will uphold its function of social critic and supervision to overcome legal loopholes which may lead to corruption and wastefulness. The Front will join the political system at all levels in this joint effort.”
Delegates will approve the Front’s action program and personnel appointment to key positions of the Front Presidium and Central Committee.
