(VOVworld) – Vietnam has always attached importance to cooperation with the German state of Hessen and regards this cooperation as a model for relations between Vietnam and foreign localities, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

At a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for Hessen Minister for Science and the Arts Boris Rhein, Mr. Phuc urged Hessen to provide scholarships to Vietnamese students and trainees and promote coordination between universities in Vietnam and Hessen. He called on the two sides to seek opportunities for future cooperation in economics and culture.  

Minister Rhein said Vietnam and Germany both attach special importance to policies which prioritize education and training in science and technology.
