Vietnam hopes Gulf countries to soon hold dialogues for stability

(VOVWORLD) - Asked for Vietnam’s viewpoint on the diplomatic tension between Qatar and the Gulf  states, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said: “Vietnam has maintained good relations with the Middle East countries in general, and with the Gulf Cooperation Council members in particular.

Asked for Vietnam’s viewpoint on the diplomatic tension between Qatar and the Gulf  states, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said: “Vietnam has maintained good relations with the Middle East countries in general, and with the Gulf Cooperation Council members in particular.  Vietnam hopes that the countries will soon have dialogues to seek measures that benefit all related parties and their peoples, contributing to regional peace and stability”. 

Regarding terror attacks in Iran on Wednesday, the spokesperson said: “Vietnam strongly condemns the recent 2 terror attacks targeting civilians in Iran. All terror acts in any form should be severely punished. We extend our condolences to the State, government, and people of Iran and relatives of the victims.”
