Vietnam, Iceland cooperate in clean energy

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Iceland’s Investment and Trade Promotion Agency co-organized a forum on the future of clean energy.

Icelandic President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson said the development of clean energy will greatly benefit Vietnam.
The two countries will engage more deeply in the global effort to cope with climate change. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trungh said Vietnam and Iceland have cooperative potentials in renewable energy production and application.
He said with Iceland’s advanced technology, both countries will work closely in exploring, exploiting, and using geothermal energy in Vietnam.
