Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, made these remarks at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Doraisamy Raja, head of a CPI delegation visiting Vietnam. Ms. Mai added that the CPV always promotes friendship and solidarity between the two Communist parties to strengthen relations between Vietnam and India for the benefit of the two peoples and for regional and global peace, stability, cooperation, and development.

Raja said his party wants to share with the CPV information and experience in party building,  and insisted on the CPI’s strong support for the peaceful settlement of disputes in the East Sea in line with international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
