At a seminar called ‘Doing business with Vietnam’ in Vadodara city as part of the 7th Vibrant Gujarat Global Investment Promotion Summit, Ambassador Thanh presented an overview of cooperation between Vietnam and India and recommended areas for cooperation including garments and textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, electronics, machinery, and farm produce.

Thanh noted that their bilateral trade will increase if their enterprises can make full use of preferential treatment from the ASEAN-India Free Trade Agreement and credits offered to Vietnam by the Indian government.

Amitabh Nagori, President of the Association of Exporters and Importer (EXIM Club), the organizer of the seminar, said the club and Vadodara’s Union of Industries will organize a business delegation to attend the VietnamExpo trade fair to be held in Hanoi in April to study the Vietnamese market and cooperative opportunities.
