Vietnam, Italy share experience in cultural preservation, education development

(VOVworld) – Flavia Nardelli Piccoli, Vice President of the Commission for Culture, Science, and Education of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, hailed Vietnam’s achievements in poverty reduction, universal education, and job generation. While receiving Le Nhu Tien, Deputy Head of the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents, and Children, on Tuesday in Rome, Piccoli said that regular delegation exchanges between the two legislative bodies and relevant agencies contribute to improving mutual understanding and boosting cooperation in culture and education.

Italy’s lawmakers showed their support for Italy’s central and local governments in carrying out projects to preserve and promote cultural heritages in Vietnam and boost sustainable tourism development.

Tien said Vietnam could learn a lot from Italy’s experience in culture and in education and training development.
