(VOVworld) - Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association opened its 2nd congress in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.
Delegates endorsed the association’s activities by 2021 to promote people diplomacy and bilateral ties. The association will boost its humanitarian activities, scholarship programs, cultural exchanges and exhibition towards the 45thanniversary of diplomatic ties in 2018. An executive committee for the next 5 year term was elected led by Mr Nguyen Cong Tanh.
