During her meeting with Speaker Inara Munierece, Vice President Thinh called for more cooperation between the two legislative bodies and suggested negotiation for cooperation agreements in education, visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders and aviation. In a meeting with Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkievics, she expected Latvia to be one of the first EU countries to ratify the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement. The Vice President also visited Madara Company, one of Latvia’s leading organic cosmetics exporters.
