The World Bank has listed Vietnam in the top ten receivers of remittances last year. The country collected over 9 billion USD from overseas Vietnamese with HCM City accounting for about 60 percent. In related development, HCM City will host an exchange entitled “Overseas Vietnamese – a bridge linking Vietnamese brands” in an effort to lure more investment for national development.
