Vietnam, Mongolia hold talks

During talks, the Vietnamese Prime Minister said Vietnam treasured, and wanted to boost its multifaceted cooperation with Mongolia, and believed that Mongolia would successfully host the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting. The two Prime Ministers said they hoped to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields to meet the aspirations of both peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world. They agreed to increase political trust and mutual understanding through exchanges of delegations and visits. Vietnam asked Mongolia to take in more Vietnamese laborers. 

After the talks, the two Prime Minister witnessed the signing of a cooperative agreement between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mongolian Employers’ Alliance. Speaking at a press conference after the talk, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: “I and the Mongolian Prime Minister discussed various issues. Mongolia and Vietnam supported each other at regional and global forums, and enhance cooperation between Mongolia and ASEAN to ensure peace, freedom of aviation and navigation in the region. Vietnam and Mongolia will strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, culture, education, mining and footwear. The two countries will increase the exchanges of students and educate the younger generations about the two countries. Vietnam and Mongolia will import and export products from both sides".

The Mongolian Prime Ministers highlighted the significance of Prime Minister Phuc’s visit saying it opened a new page in their countries’ bilateral relationship.

On the same day, Prime Minister Phuc met with Mongolian Presidnet Tsakhia Elbergdoj. The two leaders agreed to increase bilateral trade and enhance bilateral cooperation in all aspects and at regional and global forums.
