Vietnam, Nigeria boost cooperation in IT and agriculture

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said Vietnam attaches great importance to developing multi-faceted cooperation with Nigeria, considering it a top priority partner in Africa.

While receiving Audu Innocent Ogbeh, Minister of Agriculture of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Deputy Prime Minister said the two countries need to boost the bilateral cooperation, increase delegation exchanges, accelerate projects to make full use of the potentials of the two countries. Hue said Vietnam and Nigeria need to create a favorable business environment to attract more private enterprises in the fields of strength. Mr. Hue asked Nigeria to support Vietnam in its candidacy for a Security Council membership during the 2020-2021 term.

Minister Audu Innocent Ogbeh said Nigerian government pledged to create the best possible condition for Vietnamese enterprises to do business there and bring into full play the strengths of Vietnam and Nigeria.
