Vietnam People's Army celebrates 69th anniversary, Dec 22

(VOVworld) - The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Defense Ministry organised a meeting on December 19, gathering retired senior military officers. Delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army over the past 69 years and hailed the Party, State and Defense Ministry’s care for the senior officers of different generations in recognition of their merit and sacrifice in national defense.
The city opened several photo exhibitions to mark the celebration.
In Hanoi, Military Hospital 103 held a gathering with staff and people and reviewed their work in providing health care for the poor and veterans.
