Vietnam pledges continued contributions to ECOSOC

(VOVworld) – Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has stressed the importance of a paradigm shift in thinking to solidly link the 3 pillars: economics, social issues, and environment. Thinh made the remarks to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York on Monday, the first session that Vietnam attended as a member of the 2016-2018 tenure. The session discussed ways to achieve sustainable development goals set in the 2030 Agenda themed “No-one left behind”.
