Vietnam, Poland boost friendship, cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Poland’s Constitution Day was marked at a gathering in HCM City on Friday to strengthen solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between Vietnamese and Polish people.

Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Barbara Szymanowska said she believes that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Poland will further expand and the two countries will continue cooperating to build a better future for each side.

President of the Vietnam-Poland Friendship Association's Ho Chi Minh City chapter, Nguyen Dang Cuong highlighted the historic moment when Poland’s Constitution, the first constitution of its kind in Europe, was adopted 227 years ago, marking the birth of many political concepts that still exist today. He said the traditional ties between Vietnam and Poland are being nurtured by the two countries’ leaders and people.
