Vietnam, Portugal enjoy potential cooperation opportunities

In his address, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted Vietnam’s stability, socio-economic growth, and investment promotion policies saying they are the favorable conditions for foreign investors including Portugal. He said Vietnam respected its FTAs with partners and is accelerating the signing Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement. Hue highlighted positive outcomes of Vietnam’s reformed growth model and improved investment environment urging Portuguese enterprises to invest in Vietnam in the manufacturing industry, high-technology, infrastructure development, the environment, agro-forestry production, food processing, IT, services, finance, and banking.

At the events, Portuguese enterprises expressed their interest in Vietnam and their hope to increase partnership with Vietnam in finance, agricultural product exports, pharmaceuticals, and tourism and to penetrate into the ASEAN market via Vietnam.
