(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and the Economic and Cultural Journal "The Progress Time" held a seminar on "Vietnam, potential for Italian business" in Milan on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, the Vietnamese ambassador to Italy Cao Chinh Thien emphasized that Vietnam always creates favorable legal conditions for Italian businesses to seeking investment and business opportunities in Vietnam.  The European Union (EU) and Vietnam have already completed negotiations and are about to sign the Free Trade Agreement. This is an important result and a tool to further promote trade between Vietnam and EU member countries, including Italy. The Embassy of Vietnam pledges to continue to be a linking bridge to assist Italian businesses in investment and cooperation with Vietnamese businesses. Italian business representatives stated that Vietnam is a potential market and a gateway for Italian businesses to gain access to ASEAN and Asian markets.
