Vietnam promotes mathematics talents

The event is devoted to renowned Vietnamese mathematician, Professor Hoang Tuy and his 90th birthday. Speaking at the workshop, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc reiterated Vietnam’s determination to promote mathematics and its talents. He encouraged the younger generation to be confident in research and innovation to serve national development. The Prime Minister also visited the Institute of Mathematics at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. He called for reformed model of technology application to boost productivity.
