Vietnam promotes tourism at world’s leading travel trade show

(VOVWORLD) - 50 Vietnamese travel agents and localities attended the world’s leading travel trade show ITB in Berlin. The Vietnam’s display area covered 500 sq.m, displaying Vietnam’s famous scenic spots and tourism products.

A “Vietnam Night” was held on Friday evening to introduce Vietnam’s traditional arts and give free tours and tickets to Vietnam. Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Minh Vu said last year 250,000 German tourists came to Vietnam and the number will surely increase when both countries are doing their best to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership.

It’s more important that Vietnam is seen globally as a safe, attractive, and friendly tourist destination, the Ambassador said.
