Vietnam regards Japan as a long-term partner: President

(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of considering Japan an important and long-term partner at Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for Japanese Minister of Economic Revitalisation Toshimitsu Motegi.

Mr. Quang said Vietnam and Japan share many mutual benefits and concerns and have high political trust with each other. These are firm foundations for both countries to boost future cooperation.

President Quang said that Vietnam always creates favorable conditions to assure effective operation of Japanese enterprises for mutual benefit, adding that Mr. Toshimitsu’s visit will contribute to enhancing bilateral ties.

Mr. Toshimitsu said many Japanese investors show interest in doing business in Vietnam and hope that both countries’ agencies will continue to facilitate the two business communities to increase cooperation.
