(VOVworld) – A Vietnam-Russia Business Forum was held in Hanoi on Monday involving many Vietnamese and Russian businesses. Vietnam and Russia have consolidated economic cooperation in trade, investment, oil and gas, and thermal power.


Vietnamese businesses said they hope Russian businesses will cooperate in areas Vietnam is encouraging such as renewable energy, the processing of agro-forestry products, fisheries, construction, infrastructure development, education, and healthcare. Vietnam is currently an appealing market for Russian businesses and investors.
