Vietnam, Russia promote trade, investment cooperation

(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung told his visiting Russian counterpart Yuri Petrovich Trutnev that Vietnam always treasures its all field cooperation with Russia.

During their meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday, both sides agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in trade and investment to increase two-way trade turnover to 20 billion dollars by 2020 from the current 3.8 billion USD. The Russian government leader called for further Vietnamese investment in its Far East.

In a separate reception of South Korean Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Choi Jeongho, Deputy Prime Minister Dung reiterated Vietnam’s incentive policy to encourage infrastructure investment and electronic automobile assembly in Vietnam.
