Vietnam searches the missing plane in U Minh forest

(VOVworld) - Vietnam on Thursday expanded the search area for the missing Malaysian airliner by deploying four airplanes to search  U Minh forest in the southeast of Ca Mau.

Two AN26 planes have searched the Ho Chi Minh City FIR and expanded their operation to the southeast of Ca Mau.
Maritime patrol airplane CASA 8981 were searching Ca Mau cape while an MI 171 helicopter made the search over the U Minh  Forest in Ca Mau province on an area up to 50 and 70 square kilometers.
Earlier, Deputy Transport Minister Pham Quy Tieu told VOV that Vietnam always makes public all its findings and exerted major effort in the searching mission. He requested Malaysia to keep constant update of new developments.
