Vietnam seeks stronger partnership with Brazil

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue on Tuesday visited Sao Paulo and met with leaders of Brazilian companies interested in the Vietnam market.

At the meeting were the Federation of Industries of Sao Paulo State (FIESP), the Brazilian Association for Fisheries Promotion (ABRAPES), the Brazilian Association of Fisheries Industries (ABIPESCA), aerospace company Embraer, defense industry group Avibras, and the Eurofarma medical company.

Mr. Hue briefed the business leaders on agreements reached during his visit, the determination of leaders of both countries to boost trade, the positive response of Brazil to Vietnam’s proposal to recognise Vietnam’s market economy status, and the continued building of a legal framework for bilateral trade. 
Deputy PM Hue said that Vietnam welcomes businesses to take advantage of favorable conditions created by the Vietnamese and Brazilian governments to seek a stronger partnership.
