Vietnam, South Africa boost multilateral cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam-South Africa relationship has been growing well over the past years with regular exchanges of visits at all levels, said Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Vu Van Dung.

Dung was referring to the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on the sidelines of G7 summit in Canada where the two leaders exchanges measures to expand cooperation, especially in trade and investment. Ambassador Dung said 2018 marks 25 years of Vietnam-South Africa’s diplomatic ties and the Embassy are planning a series of events to mark the occasion. This includes an exhibition of oil paintings on Vietnam and other activities at the South Africa’s international fair SAITEX.
