Vietnam, South Korea to bring strategic cooperative partnership to new height

(VOVworld)-Vietnam attaches importance to strengthening ties with South Korea and looks for consolidated political trust and closer cooperation between the two countries, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh during talks with South Korean Foreign Minister Yoon Byeong Se in Hanoi on Monday.

Mr. Minh asked for more exchanges between the two countries’ localities and ministries and balanced and sustainable bilateral trade ties. Both sides agreed to tighten cooperation in multilateral mechanisms including the UN, APEC and ASEAN-South Korea and support the settlement of differences including East Sea disputes by peaceful means in line with international laws. Minister Yoon Byeong Se said South Korea will continue to enhance cooperation to take the strategic cooperative partnership to a new height.
