(VOVworld) – Vietnam will do its best to contribute to UN efforts to tackle climate change. During a seminar on the UN post-2015 development agenda and a new agreement on climate change in New York, the US, Vietnam's Permanent Representative to UN, Nguyen Phuong Nga, said this year marks a milestone as the UN steps up efforts to develop a post-2015 development agenda and reach a new agreement on climate change. She noted that these two processes would support each other towards a common goal of sustainable development. She highlighted Vietnam’s national strategy on climate change and a green growth strategy and asked for international support in this course in terms of finance, technology, and capacity improvement.
