(VOVworld)- A meeting to mark 46 years of Vietnamese- Swedish development cooperation was held in Hanoi on Monday. The Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Camilla Mellander reviewed the development of cooperation between the two countries since 1967. Over the years, Sweden has assisted Vietnam’s efforts in reducing poverty and developing into a middle-income country. Sweden was the first donor of and one of the largest ODA providers to Vietnam. The Swedish Ambassador said that Sweden would continue to contribute to Vietnam’s development through regional and global programs. On this occasion, partners, organizations, enterprises and researchers shared their experiences in reducing poverty, adapting to climate change and building a sustainable partnership.
