(VOVworld) –Vietnam’s shuttlecock team won two additional gold medals in the men’s and women’s singles categories and 2 silver medals in team events at the final day of the world shuttlecock championship in Italy.

With the achievements, Vietnam has successfully protected its No1 status. Vietnam has been the most successful country at the world shuttlecock championship and has come in first place in at every of seven editions of the tournament.

At this year’s competition, China came the second with 3 gold medals and 4 silver medals.
