(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese government attaches importance to training high-quality human resources, considering it a strategic breakthrough for national development, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said at the Vietnam-UK Education Cooperation Forum which was held on Friday in London.

The event was held by Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnamese embassy in the UK and the British Council. Mr. Ninh said Vietnam’s government considers education reforms to be key tasks for Vietnam’s international integration in the future. He added the forum was an opportunity for leaders and experts to exchange experiences and develop effective measures to promote educational cooperation between the two sides. The Deputy Prime Minister asked the UK to continue assisting in the Vietnam-UK university project in Da Nang and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese students to study in the UK.
