(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese and US war veterans exchanged thoughts about the losses of war and building a better future at a conference held by the Vietnam–USA Society (VUS) in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Sharing a common hope for stronger Vietnam–US relations, the participants said they will continue their joint work in humanitarian aid, war aftermath alleviation, and other cooperative programs.
