Vietnam wishes to broaden cooperation with New Zealand

(VOVworld)-Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has suggested that Vietnam and New Zealand further cooperate in economics, trade, investment, agriculture, aviation and education. At a reception for New Zeland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bill English in Hanoi on Monday, Prime Minister Dung said the Vietnamese Government will continue to do its utmost to effectively implement cooperation agreements reached by the two countries’ leaders.

Dung also suggested that the two countries continue their close coordination and mutual support at regional and international forums, including backing ASEAN on the issue of the East Sea, and that New Zealand continue to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in New Zealand.

Mr English said that New Zealand is always willing to enhance education cooperation with Vietnam, and is ready to work with Vietnam and other countries to quickly conclude the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.
