Vietnam wishes to expand cooperation with Northern Europe in water management
(VOVworld) – A workshop on the leading role of Northern Europe in water management has taken place in Helsinki, Finland.

The participants exchanged views and discussed measures for effective cooperation, helping to successfully implement the 6th Sustainable Development Goal on water in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. Vietnam’s ambassador to Finland, Bui Van Khoa, said Vietnam wishes to expand cooperation with Northern European countries in water management. Vietnam called for the provision of preferential credits to support enterprises in water supply and the drainage and sanitation sectors. He also asked them to transfer technology and share experience in waste-water treatment and the management of urban water supplies and drainage systems.
