Vietnamese Ambassador to UK presents credentials

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Tran Ngoc An on Thursday presented his credentials to Queen Elizabeth II in London.

At the ceremony, the Queen expressed her satisfaction with the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the UK. She said several members of the British royal family, including Prince Andrew and Prince William, have visited Vietnam and all received a good impression of Vietnam.

Ambassador An said he was honored to become Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK at a time when the relations between the two countries are progressing well.He pledged to do his utmost to promote the bilateral friendship and cooperative relations.Later, at a reception for diplomatic representatives and overseas Vietnamese in the UK, An highlighted past progress in the multifaceted cooperation between the two nations, especially in economics, trade, investment, defence, education, and training.
