Vietnamese Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung said Vietnam-Germany relations have been strongly developing, particularly since President Truong Tan Sang’s visit to Germany in 2015 which opened great new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Hung said Vietnam and Germany have been cooperating strongly and effectively and 2016 is the 5th anniversary of the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership. He said he wants to show Germany a hospitable, friendly, and safe Vietnam.

The Asia-Pacific Week is an annual event sponsored by Germany’s Ministry of Economics, Technology, and Research and the German President. A central part of the event is Embassy Day for embassies of Asia-Pacific countries in Berlin to promote their political and economic situation, business environment, and art performances.
