The event was part of a series of monthly international cultural and culinary festivals to introduce cultures of foreign countries in the Czech Republic and attract more tourists to Prague. Dozens of booths have introduced Vietnam’s traditional dishes, as well as those from Thailand, Mongolia, China and the host country. Stefan Orsos, Managing Director of Food Events, said Vietnamese cuisine has been chosen as the theme for the international culinary festival for 3 consecutive years: “The Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic is very well established and firmly rooted and Vietnamese food has become very popular here. We hope that this festival will further promote Vietnamese cuisine in the Czech Republic and help us understand more about Vietnamese culture and people”.

In addition, a photo exhibition was held to showcase Vietnam’s culture and tourist attractions as well as its national achievements.
