Vietnamese cuisine promoted in South Africa

(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese Culinary Week took place last week in Johannesburg, South Africa to promote Vietnam’s food.

Diverse and sophisticated Vietnamese dishes and traditional cultural features the Vietnamese land and its people were introduced throughout the week.

Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Le Huy Hoang said the event was better organized than ever before and will boost tourism, economic, and trade co-operation between Vietnam and South Africa.

Initiated by the Hyatt Hotel chain, the event, closed last Saturday, featured two famous Vietnamese chefs – Ma Khi Tan and Duong Bao Son from the Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
