Vietnamese culture shines at Czech Republic folklore festival

(VOVWORLD) -A folklore festival opened in Litomerice, the Czech Republic, on Sunday to promote ethnic minority cultures and boost people's mutual understanding and connectivity.

Art troupes from 8 ethnic minority groups including Slovakia, Czech, Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Vietnam participated in the event. “It’s our honor to invite the Vietnamese representatives to share with others their cultural identities. Vietnamese people are well known for their hard working and good school performance by their kids," said Iveta Pospisilova from the organizing board.

Viewer Jana Pacltova said the Vietnamese performance left a good impression on the audience.

“I love Vietnamese culture and want to explore it. Your performance helps me know more about Vietnamese ethnic costumes. We will share the knowledge with my pupils at school," she said.
