(VOVworld) - Vietnamese and French localities discussed expanding cooperation in economics and tourism at a workshop held on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 10th Conference on cooperation between the two countries’ localities in Can Tho city.

Le Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong city’s People’s Committee said an international economic workshop which aims to facilitate national development strategy is essential in the context of further globalization and economic integration. The workshop on economic and tourism cooperation is part of activities to enhance Vietnam-France cooperation. The participants reviewed bilateral cooperation in economics and tourism, focusing on seafood and tourism, shared experience, and sought measures to boost future cooperation.
