(VOVWORLD) -A seminar on economic cooperation between Italy’s Lombardy and Vietnamese localities was held in Milan on Friday as part of events to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Italy diplomatic ties.
 Lombardy authorities and Vietnamese officials discussed cooperation opportunities.

Fabio Altitonante, a representative of Lombardy, said Vietnam is a lucrative market for Lombardy’s businesses. With advantages of modern technology production and services, Lombardy has supported internationalization of production, investment, research and technology transfer to potential markets like Vietnam.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Cao Chinh Tien said it’s the right time for Italian and Vietnamese businesses to seek cooperation opportunities and study market demand, particularly in infrastructure, energy, industry and waste treatment.
